What is a stretch band and what is it used for?
Our stretch band is made of very tough and stretchable low-density polyethylene (LDPE). In the true sense, the individual stretch band is a prefabricated tubular film cut from highly elastic film with very high restoring forces. The band has such a high resilience that it is able to secure and fix even goods with extremely high weights.
Thanks to its elasticity, the tape can be easily pulled over pallets or other packages. The "stretch effect", also known as restoring force, ensures high tension and excellent transport protection. It is therefore ideal for securing pallets and loads.
Our stretch bands are suitable for Euro pallets and disposable pallets, quarter pallets and half pallets, it is suitable for securing boxes, rolls, barrels, canisters, beverage crates, fruit and vegetable crates as well as other packaged goods.
Our stretch bands are ideal for the internal transport of goods. Even during the stretching process, our stretch tape keeps the goods securely on the pallet. It also helps to secure edge protectors and pallet cover sheets.
What are the benefits of a stretch band?
It's easy to use: simply pull the pre-assembled stretch band over the pallet or packaged goods - that's it. Fast and effective.
Cost-effectiveness: by using our stretch bands, you avoid any damage to the product. A single stretch tape can prevent pallets from tipping over. No more damaged boxes or products. You also save time, as pallets that have fallen over have to be laboriously packed by hand.
Prevention of accidents: one of the most common causes of serious accidents and injuries are accidents caused by pallets with very heavy goods tipping over. These accidents can be avoided by using our cost-effective stretch bands.
Labelling of goods and pallets: pallets and products can be visually identified by using coloured stretch bands. Expensive mix-ups and incorrect despatch are virtually eliminated.
Quick removal without any residues: even removal after use, if desired, proves to be extremely practical. The stretch band is removed in no time at all. Unlike packing tapes or adhesive tapes, it leaves no adhesive residue and does not damage any boxes, labels or products.
Environmental friendliness: stretch bands are incredibly lightweight. The film thickness is reduced to a minimum because the film has a very high strength. No adhesives or other foreign materials are used. Our stretch band are made of pure polyethylene and are therefore very easy to dispose of and recycle. Polyethylene is a so-called thermoplastic and can be recycled very easily and an infinite number of times. It consists only of carbon and hydrogen and does not contain any toxic substances such as plasticisers or heavy metals.

All our stretch bands are packed in a practical and sturdy dispenser box. They are perforated on an endless roll. There are 100 pieces of stretch bands on a roll. One packaging unit contains 16 rolls and one pallet contains 576 rolls.
