You can choose from a wide range of products
Around 20 years ago, we were still ordering individual boxes of rubber rings from importers for resale. Today, our company itself is one of the largest importers and sells more than one hundred tonnes of rubber rings a year. They come directly from a Thai province where the natural rubber used for the rubber rings is grown in large quantities. It comes from a supplier that cultivates the rubber itself and then processes the raw material into the end product in its own factories under humane conditions. A responsible, transparent and controllable manufacturing process has always been and continues to be a top priority for our company. This has enabled us to grow into one of the leading online shops for rubber rings in Germany. And you can benefit from this as well.
In red, white, blue, yellow, green and transparent, you will find almost all dimensions, diameters, cutting widths and thicknesses - from 12 mm to 120 mm in diameter, from 1 mm to 100 mm thick and with a cutting width from 1 mm to 1.5 mm. The bands are packaged in transparent PE bags with labels for easy storage. If you require rubber rings that do not match these colours and sizes, simply let us know of your wishes. How wide, thick and large should the rubber bands be in mm and what colour would you like? As the importer, we will be happy to have your special version customised by our Thai supplier.
Please note, however, that in this case the shipping of your rubber rings can take up to 16 weeks.
Order easily with low-cost delivery
You can simply buy rubber bands directly from our online shop, give us a call or send us a message. All items in the assortment are available in large quantities directly from stock and are ready for shipment via parcel service on the same day or the next morning at the latest. This applies to both small and large orders. We charge a flat rate for shipping costs within Germany and a small charge for shipping to other European countries. One kilo of rubber rings is packed in a PE bag, up to ten of these bags are combined in one box. If you order more than 31 kilograms, delivery will be made by a forwarding agent without extra charge.

What are rubber rings and where do you need them?
Rubber rings are round, stretchy bands that are mainly used to bundle, fasten, tension and fix products and objects. A rubber ring can have an elasticity of up to 500-600 per cent without tearing. No other product has similar characteristics. In typical usage, rubber rings are also called rubber bands.
What are rubber rings used for?
Rubber rings can be used in a wide range of fields: from industry to horticulture (using transparent, food-safe rubber rings) and from offices to households. Please note that we only sell rubber rings in large quantities to commercial customers, from one kilogramm upwards. Here are some examples of rubber rings in use:
- In print shops, posters are rolled up and fixed with rubber bands
- In the shipping sector, rubber bands are used to hold small parts and accessories together in packaging and to seal bags
- In industry, rubber bands are also used for packaging products
- In horticulture, rubber rings are often used to hold vegetables and bundles of herbs together
- As office accessories, rubber bands keep documents organised
- Rubber rings can also often be found as a product component, for example in tents or wooden tarpaulins in the form of tarpaulin tensioners
What are rubber rings made of?
Our rubber rings are made from a high proportion of natural rubber. Rubber is a rubbery substance found in the natural latex of rubber trees, which grow primarily in South-East Asia and Central and South America. Trees do not have to be felled in order to extract rubber from nature. Instead, they are cut on the outside in order to "tap" the latex they contain. This latex is constantly re-produced by the plant, making it an environmentally friendly process. In addition to natural rubber, which makes up around 60-80 per cent, rubber rings consist of zinc oxide, sulphur and calcium carbonate.
How can I recognise the quality of rubber rings?
The quality of rubber rings depends on the degree of elasticity, elongation and tear resistance. These properties in turn depend on the natural rubber content. The higher the proportion in the rubber ring, the more the bands can be stretched without tearing. You can also recognise high-quality rubber by the fact that it is made from natural rubber and not synthetic, petrochemically produced rubber. This rubber is now used instead of natural rubber in 60 per cent of cases. Our rubber rings are made from natural rubber.
How are rubber rings made?
To produce rubber rings, you first need an appropriate amount of natural rubber. It is processed into a cohesive rubber mass. This rubber mass is then moulded into a long tube and cut to the desired width (mm). There is an optional additional step in which the finished rubber rings are vulcanised. This step makes the rings even more elastic and durable.
Why are the prices here lower than elsewhere?
Even though our rubber rings come from Thailand and are shipped here, we can offer you extremely favourable prices. This is due to the fact that, as one of the leading German online shops, we order enormous quantities and can therefore achieve very favourable purchase prices. Despite the high product quality, the prices are significantly lower than elsewhere. Even if you have us manufacture customised rubber rings and ship them to Europe, the prices are hardly any higher. Please contact us to receive a customised quote.
How should rubber rings be stored?
You can store rubber rings directly in the PE bags, which are already used as packaging during dispatch. If you have ordered several different products, simply note the dimensions of the contents on the labels. Ideally, they should be stored at room temperature and in a place protected from the sun. Rubber rings can withstand temperatures from -40 to +110 degrees. Excessive exposure to heat or cold outside of these temperature ranges and long-term UV exposure can weaken the material. The material then loses its resilience, elasticity and tear resistance.
Rule of thumb: Store rubber rings dry and protected from light at approx. 20 °C, this is when they last the longest.
How environmentally friendly are rubber rings?
Rubber is an environmentally friendly material as it is based on renewable raw materials. It is made from the sap of rubber trees. In other words, it is a natural and not a synthetic raw material.
How long do rubber rings last?
Rubber cannot be stored forever. Ozone, oxygen, constant moisture and UV light cause rubber rings to become brittle. Rubber rings should therefore be stored in an airtight, dry, cool and dark place. Rubber rings stored in this way hardly decompose and have a long shelf life.
Can rubber rings be used in contact with food?
The rubber rings from dm-folien are made from natural rubber and are suitable for contact with food. We have had their safety tested and confirmed by independent German laboratories. Contact us for the relevant certificates.
How stretchy are rubber rings?
Our rubber rings made of natural rubber have an elongation at break of approx. 750 %. This is a better value than for synthetic rubber rings, which break at approx. 350 %.
How do I measure the size of rubber rings correctly?
Rubber rings are measured when they aren't stretched, using the following specifications:
Diameter or flat dimension, cutting width and thickness of the ring.
What is the customs tariff number for rubber rings?
The customs tariff number for rubber rings made of natural rubber is 40169991.
Is there a formula for calculating the diameter based on the flat width?
Yes, there is the following formula available: flat width x 2 / 3.14
What colours are rubber rings available in?
We offer coloured rubber rings in red, blue, green, white and plain/transparent directly from stock. Do you have a desired colour that is not included? We can produce different colours from 200 kg and with delivery time of approx. 12-14 weeks.
