Agriflex Wickelfolie 250 mm Agriflex ist eine hochwertige, 5-lagige Cast Wickelfolie die sich seit vielen Jahren im Einsatz bewährt hat. Sie gehört zu den bekanntesten Cast Stretchfolien Deutschlands und ist eine sehr preiswerte Variante. Agriflex gibt es in vielen verschiedenen Breiten, für verschiedene Ballenarten. Angefangen bei einer Breite von 250 mm für Mini Rundballen, über 500 mm für Rundballen, bis hin zu 750er Agriflex Wickelfolie für Rund- und Quaderballen. Je nach Belieben sind sie in weiß oder grün erhältlich und immer lieferbar. Agriflex weist sehr gute mechanische Eigenschaften auf und besitzt eine hohe Klebekraft. Auch eine UV-Beständigkeit von mindestens 12 Monaten wird garantiert. Der Standardkern mit einem Durchmesser von 76 mm sorgt dafür, dass Agriflex Wickelfolien für jeden Ballenwickler geeignet sind. Hinweis Die Rollen mit einer Breite von 250mm und 375mm können nur in 2er Schritten gekauft werden. Sie werden in einem 500 mm oder 750 mm Karton verschickt.

What is stretch film and what is it used for?
Stretch film is an elastic, highly stretchable film with excellent resilience. It is a cost-effective solution for securing pallets during transport and is available in various designs and colours.
Stretch film comes in two main types: hand stretch film for manual application and machine stretch film for automated processing. Additionally, we offer mini stretch film, which is very thin (100 mm wide) and ideal for bundling or securing long items.
Why use stretch film?
This packaging film protects your pallets, boxes, and products from damage, theft, loss, moisture, water, rain, dust, and dirt during transport and storage. By preventing these risks, it helps reduce complaints, labour, and unnecessary costs.
With its low thickness, stretch film is a highly cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for securing goods.
What different types of stretch film are there?
Hand Stretch Film
Hand stretch film is designed for manual application using a film dispenser. These handy rolls typically weigh up to 3.5 kg, making them easy to handle.
Automatic Stretch Film
Automatic stretch film is used with wrapping machines for semi-automatic or fully automatic stretch wrapping. These machine rolls usually weigh between 15 and 20 kg.
Mini Stretch Film
Mini stretch film is a small, lightweight, and narrow wrapping film, ideal for bundling and securing products.
Agricultural Stretch Film
This type of stretch film is specifically designed for wrapping round and square bales in the agricultural sector. The rolls, used in machine processing, typically weigh between 22 and 28 kg.
How are pallets wrapped securely for transport?
Pallets are securely stretch-wrapped for transport by applying three to four base wraps under high tension. The film is then wound upwards, overlapping with maximum possible tension.
At the top of the pallet, three to four head wraps are applied under high tension before winding the film back down, again with overlap. The film should always remain under tension, as its restoring force ensures a firm and stable hold.
For additional protection against dirt and moisture from above, pallet cover sheets can also be used.

Thicknesses
Our packaging films are thin-walled yet highly durable, stretchable, and exceptionally tear-resistant. The available thickness range spans from 7 to 35 microns (my). However, the film's thickness is not the only important factor; the type of film, along with the weight and nature of the goods or pallet being wrapped, also play a significant role.

Widths

What is the right thickness of stretch film?
With hand stretch film, the film thickness can be selected based on the weight of the pallets. For light pallets, thicknesses of 11 microns or 15 microns are often sufficient. For heavy pallets weighing 500 kg or more, however, a film thickness of 20 microns or 23 microns is recommended to ensure adequate transport protection.
The same principle applies to automatic stretch film. However, if your requirements are increasing or large, we strongly recommend that you seek expert advice. The use of thicker stretch film is often worthwhile here. Despite the higher price per kilogram, enormous savings can be realised through reduced consumption.
