Fill the tree watering ring with up to 55 litres of water via the opening of the ring. Small valves on the underside of the ring allow the water to slowly and continuously reach the root area of the tree. The total dripping time is approx. 5 hours, which ensures continuous moistening. The tree irrigation ring has a height of approx. 10 cm when filled and is therefore the perfect solution for shrubs that have branches far down on the trunk. What is a tree watering bag?
A tree watering bag is a bag made of PVC that is used for the long-term watering of young and existing trees. Thanks to a dripping time of 5 to 8 hours (per filling), the trees are watered evenly at the tree root. With average temperatures rising every year, continuous irrigation of newly planted trees is advisable and (sometimes) even necessary in summer. This is possible with the help of this irrigation system!
How does the tree watering bag work?
The function of a tree watering bag is simple: the watering bag for trees has tiny, barely visible outlet holes at the bottom, through which the filled water drains very slowly. Large and small trees - or even shrubs - can thus be watered for 5 to 8 hours. This is the perfect, mobile drip irrigation system for small and large young trees, fruit trees, ornamental trees and existing trees in the garden!
What is the tree watering bag used for?
The tree watering bag is used for long-term irrigation and water supply during dry periods to support trees. Young trees in particular, whose roots are not yet so deep into the ground, need additional water during hot periods to prevent them from drying out. The growth of young trees is promoted by watering them with a tree watering bag.
Who are tree watering bags suitable for?
There is an increased risk of theft whenever tree watering bags are placed in publicly accessible locations. Our watering bags therefore have two eyelets at the top end of the zipper, through which a padlock can be attached! This prevents the water bag from being easily removed from the tree. Application of tree watering bags
A tree watering bag can be used to water trees with a trunk circumference of up to 17 cm. Simply place the mobile watering bag around the trunk and close it using a zip fastener. Then fill the tree watering bag with a garden hose / water hose with up to 100 litres of water (depending on the version). The green tree watering bag should be refilled 1-2 times a week depending on the trunk circumference, weather conditions and soil conditions.
For larger trunk circumferences, you can connect and fill two (or more!) bags using zip fasteners. This way, even large trees (with trunk circumferences of 17 to 60 cm) can be watered efficiently with the tree watering bag - it is the ideal watering system. The mobile tree irrigation system is particularly suitable for tall trees during the first three years after planting, as well as for soil that is sealed down to the tree disc from April to September. It doesn't matter whether you are a hobby gardener with your own garden or a landscape gardener responsible for the plants in your home town: the soil of the plants or street trees receives sufficient water with our irrigation bags.

Our practical test showed that both sewn-on, tear-resistant lifting loops offer more than just improved handling. Especially with young trees, the irrigation bags can be easily secured using the lifting loops. By tying them up, the bag stays in the desired position, which is why no additional fastening material is required.

Material of tree watering bags
The green tree watering bag is made of UV-resistant PVC, which is highly stable. The water bags can therefore be reused several times and have a high tear propagation resistance (notch resistance). The thickness of a watering bag is 420 g/m² - a tree bag weighs 600-700 grams (depending on the version). The material can be described as extremely robust - so the mobile tree watering bag can be reused for many years!
