What are mesh bags used for?
The main purpose of mesh bags is to pack, store and facilitate the transport of fruit, vegetables or wood.
Raschel bags are also used for many other purposes:
- For many types of vegetables: carrots, leeks, cabbage, blue cabbage, red cabbage, kale, white cabbage, Brussels sprouts, celery, onions, red onions, garlic, corn
- For wood such as firewood, chimney wood and kindling

The dimensions of raschel sacks, potato sacks, and vegetable sacks are defined either by width and length in millimetres or by capacity/filling weight.

What colours are mesh bags available in?
As we have a very wide range of mesh bags, we can offer you many different colours. Mesh bags are available from us in the following colours:
- golden yellow
- green
- orange
- purple
- green/white
- red
There are also different edge colours at the opening of the bags.
Mesh bags and mesh fabric in rolls or by the metre
Net bags are also available on rolls or by the metre for automatic packaging on wrapping machines. In addition to golden yellow bags, primarily used for potatoes, the German market predominantly uses orange bags for onions. All other colours for rolls are the exception for the German market.

Are raschel bags UV-stable?
Our mesh bags are not suitable for long-term outdoor storage. The material lasts approx. 3 to 5 months outdoors. However, no guarantee is given by the manufacturer as the bags are not produced with an additional UV additive.
However, our raschel bags for firewood are equipped with UV additives and have a shelf life of approx. 1 year when used outdoors.

Our mesh bags are packed in space-saving, neat and dust-tight pressed bales. We have the following packaging units:
