AGRIplus Universal Net in Various Sizes Our AGRIplus universal protective neta are made from UV-stable monofilament threads, making them very sturdy, robust and tear-resistant. The net cannot be torn by hand. For easy and secure fastening, the net is equipped with sturdy metal eyelets with an inner diameter of 12 mm. Mesh To ensure versatile use, the net features a very fine mesh size of 0.8 × 0.8 mm. The AGRIplus universal net is water-permeable, preventing the formation of water pockets. Durability The AGRIplus universal net is UV-resistant and frost-resistant, making it suitable for long-term use over many seasons Versatile in Use The AGRIplus universal net is suitable for a wide range of applications. It reliably catches leaves and debris in autumn and winter and protects against predatory birds such as herons, egrets, and cranes, as well as cats and other animals. In addition, it helps keep snails and other leaf-eating pests away from vegetable patches. Simple Attachment The AGRIplus universal nets can be quickly and securely fixed using ground anchors or tarpaulin tensioners (see our accessories). These are easy to insert into the ground by hand and can be repositioned just as easily when required. Alternatively, the net can be secured using a rubber rope or expander rope, also available in our shop. Accessories A wide range of compatible accessories is available, including metal ground anchors, plastic eyelets, ground spikes and plastic fixing pins. What Is a Sandpit Net?
The AGRIplus sandpit net is a fine-meshed, sturdy plastic net. The individual monofilament threads are extremely durable and cannot be torn by hand.
How Long Is Our Sandpit Net UV-Resistant?
Our AGRIplus netting is both UV-resistant and frost-resistant. Experience has shown that our sandpit netting has a durability of more than five years outdoors.
Advantages of a Net Compared to a Tarpaulin Cover
The sandpit net is water-permeable and breathable which prevents mould from forming. In addition, the sand does not dry out completely thanks to precipitation. Our net also has the decisive advantage that no water pockets form on the sandpit cover in heavy rain. Furthermore, it has an extremely low surface area for wind to attack as it is permeable to wind. The risk of damage from wind and storms is also significantly lower with a net cover than with a sandpit tarpaulin. The net is easy to remove and reattach even for children as it is very light. In terms of tear resistance, weather resistance and durability, our AGRIplus net is far superior to all sandpit tarpaulins. In your ornamental garden, a cover with an AGRIplus sandpit net is significantly less conspicuous and more visually appealing than a tarpaulin cover. In contrast to a sandpit tarpaulin, the net cover takes up considerably less space.

How Do I Fix a Sandpit Net Properly?
There are two options for attaching the sandpit net.
- You can order the net in a size that exactly matches the dimensions of your sandpit. The net can then be weighted down at the sides with stones or sandbags.
- However, we recommend attaching the sandpit net with the included butterfly clips. To do this, you should order the safety net about 50 cm wider and longer. Simply attach the clips to your sandpit at a distance of 50 cm.
What Size Should My Sandpit Net Be?
If you want to attach your sandpit net with clips / eyelets, we recommend an overhang of approx. 20 - 25 cm on each side. In order to attach the clips / eyelets firmly and securely, we also recommend creating an edge reinforcement by bending the edge. For this purpose, an additional 3 - 5 cm of netting should be added on each side.
For example:

What Does the Net Cover Weigh?
The sandpit net has a very narrow mesh size of 0.8 x 0.8 mm. The protective net therefore keeps all dirt and impurities away from your sandpit.
How much does the net cover weigh?
Thanks to the very low weight of 60g per square metre, our AGRIplus sandpit covers are extremely easy to handle and can be stowed away to save space when not in use.
What Does the Sandpit Net Protect Against?
It protects against cats, dogs and other wild animals / rodents. It also protects against leaves, dirt and other impurities. As the playground net cover is breathable, it prevents mould and fungal growth. This is a considerable advantage for sandpits where children play.
