Are you fed up with the usual hassle?
You are probably familiar with the following situation. You buy an expensive tarpaulin from the DIY store and use it to cover your expensive firewood neatly and tidily. The cover film or tarpaulin has a great, stable and robust look at first. But after just one year or even a few months, the joy is gone. You see holes caused by mechanical damage, the wood film becomes brittle and fragile due to intense sunlight, the eyelets are torn out by strong winds, and your wood is unprotected.

How do I recognise whether a cover film or tarpaulin is UV-resistant?
Not at all. So it's a real problem if you don't get honest information. And why are you not getting fair information? Because the salesperson lacks knowledge. Of course, how is a consultant in a DIY store supposed to know anything about films and tarpaulins? It's impossible! What's the solution? Ask a company that knows all about films and professionals who have been dealing exclusively with films for over 30 years. You have found them right now. We'll give you the answers you deserve!
Are eyelets, which always tear out, then the solution?
We do not think so. Eyelets are always the weak point in normal PE fabric tarpaulins. When covering wood, it is safer to fasten the tarpaulin directly to the firewood with wooden slats. It is up to the user whether to use screws or nails. This is a simple, safe and inexpensive option. If you do use eyelets, make sure you buy a really good quality wood film, as the risk of tearing is greatly reduced.
Which film thickness should I use?
Our range includes "only" 3 variants. We don't stock more, as these are the ones that really make sense in our eyes. Other qualities usually only lead to annoyance and frustration. We differentiate between the following materials, in this case:
- conventional, but very tear-resistant and UV-resistant PE film (brown)
- above-average fabric film with the quality of 210 g/sqm (green)
- extremely durable PVC tarpaulin with approx. 600 g/sqm (similar to lorry tarpaulin, green)
Each of these variants and strengths will fulfil your requirements.
What width is appropriate for me?
For standard firewood with a cutting width of 1 metre, you can safely work with widths of 1.3 - 1.5 metres. Experience has taught us this. You will of course find these dimensions here in the shop. If you require other dimensions, please contact us or send us your relevant data. We have various solutions for you to produce the products according to your requirements.
Does colour play a role?
No. It's mainly about appearance. You certainly don't want to have a red or blue cover film in your garden. That's why people usually choose a green or brown colour. However, if you would like a colour other than green or brown for your garden, please let us know. Many of our customers buy tarpaulins in white, for example. Conclusion: everything is possible with us.
Purchase of the film is completed - how is the order delivered?
The delivery of "smaller" orders will of course be delivered by parcel service. The goods are neatly packed in cardboard boxes so that they arrive undamaged. When purchasing larger quantities, we ship the products with forwarding agents. Delivery is always free in Germany. Our foreign customers near and far can also rely on our favourable shipping costs.
