What Is Decorative Film?
Decorative film, also known as decoration film, is a film used for decorating and covering surfaces. Our colored PE films are made from polyethylene (PE), more specifically LDPE. For large-scale fan events and choreographies, these films are also used as block film.
The term decorative film is also used for self-adhesive films designed for furniture decoration. Our decorative film, however, does not have an adhesive coating. It must be fastened separately if necessary or can, for example, be laid down as a table covering. Our decorative film is not intended for application to furniture or other surfaces as an adhesive film.

Decorative Film in White, Red, Gold, and Other Colors
Whether you choose white decorative film for a bright design, red decorative film for eye-catching accents, or gold decorative film for festive decorations, the right color depends on the desired appearance. Which Decorative Film Is Suitable for Outdoor Use?
For outdoor decorative film, the intended duration of use and UV resistance are important factors. PE decorative film is waterproof but only has limited UV resistance.
Depending on the version, decorative film can be used outdoors for several weeks and up to approximately 3 months. For special requirements, UV-resistant versions can also be requested as custom-made products.
How Can Non-Self-Adhesive Decorative Film Be Fastened?
Decorative film does not have its own adhesive coating and must be fastened separately if required. The appropriate fastening method depends on the specific application and surface.
The film can also be cut to the required dimensions. Custom widths and lengths can be requested for custom-made products.
Flame-Retardant Decorative Film for Events
If your application requires flame-retardant film, choose a version specifically designated for this purpose. Standard PE decorative film is not automatically flame-retardant. Suitable products can be found under B1 film. Flame-retardant versions can also be requested as custom-made products.

Which Custom Colors Are Available?
Custom colors can be requested starting at approximately 200 kg. For custom-made colored films, different versions are available, including opaque, transparent, and translucent films. Opaque film is non-transparent and provides full visual coverage, transparent film is see-through, and translucent film allows light to pass through.
Which Dimensions and Thicknesses Are Available?
- Film width: custom-made versions from 50 mm to 12 m are possible.
- Film length: custom lengths are available upon request.
- Film thickness: depending on the version, thicknesses from 25 to 250 µm are possible.
- Folding: folded or unfolded versions are possible.
- Roll core: 76 mm core diameter.
