Questions and answers
Question: What is the difference between UV-stable and UV-permeable?
Answer: UV-stable means that a product (in our case film) is UV-resistant and does not change its properties when exposed to sunlight. UV-permeable means that the packaging does not absorb the sun's UV radiation. This is often confused. Products that need to be protected from light require UV-impermeable packaging. If the goods are stored indoors, the packaging itself does not have to be UV-stable. Opaque coloured packaging is sufficient. Goods that are stored outdoors naturally require packaging that is UV-stable and therefore can withstand exposure to the sun.

Packaging film is used all over the world to protect products. Packaging films protect goods from dirt and dust, from rain and moisture, from damage and scratches during transport and from prying eyes. Packaging films protect painted and sensitive surfaces, they protect against loss of flavour. Packaging films are also used as sales packaging and have a sales-promoting impact.
