A delivery note envelope is a self-adhesive wallet attached to the back of parcels and pallets to securely hold accompanying documents and shipping paperwork in a visible manner. These document wallets are typically made from PP (polypropylene) or PE (polyethylene), and we also offer paper-based delivery note wallets. The paper version features a transparent window, allowing the recipient’s address on the shipping documents to remain visible.

What material are delivery note pouches made of?

Self-adhesive envelopes are typically made from polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE, LDPE, PE-LD), i.e. plastic delivery note envelopes. However, paper delivery note pouches are also available. We have selected polypropylene for our paper carrier bags due to its excellent qualities:

What is the quality of the delivery note pockets?

• Back film thickness: 25µ
• Backing paper and protective paper: 60 g/m²
• Adhesive application: 22-25 g/m²

What is the ideal processing temperature for self-adhesive document wallets?

All adhesives can be sensitive to extreme temperatures, which may disrupt smooth application. It is therefore crucial to know the optimal temperature range for applying a mailing wallet to ensure secure adhesion and hassle-free processing.

Issues typically arise in very cold environments. If maintaining the ideal temperature in your warehouse, logistics centre, production area, or dispatch department is challenging, consider storing document wallets in a room with stable conditions. In colder warehouses, a small heater or heated mat can help warm the wallets or adhesive tape slightly, preventing adhesion issues.

The optimal processing temperature for our document envelopes is between +18°C and +24°C. Store them in a cool, dry place. Application is possible from as low as +2°C.
