What is an adhesive seal bag?
An adhesive seal bag is a film bag or flat bag, usually made of PE or PP, with a self-adhesive flap at the opening. The self-adhesive flap serves as a closure for the bag. The adhesive closure is provided with a film cover or paper cover, which is removed. After removing the cover, the self-adhesive flap is simply turned over and the bag is firmly and securely closed.
What are adhesive seal bags used for?

Reversible or permanent adhesive?
What is the difference between reversible, permanent adhesive and adhesive features? This is actually quite simply explained:
Reversible adhesive means that the seal can be opened again and then, of course, glued back on. The plastic bag can therefore be reused several times and can be opened and closed again and again. This closure is useful for product packaging.
Permanently adhesive or self-adhesive means that the adhesive adheres very strongly to the flap and cannot be removed. This type of closure is used for coex mailing bags and security bags. The recipient immediately recognises from the damaged film that the item has been opened and can act accordingly. The permanent seal is usually used when the bag is used as a foil mailer or foil envelope for transport purposes. It can also be used for even more sensitive areas such as transport of valuables and money, where maximum protection is required.

Strength, quality and tear resistance
Our stock dimensions have film thicknesses of 50 my and 70 my. These thicknesses are perfectly sufficient for most standard applications. If you are unsure whether one of the two film thicknesses is suitable for you, we will be happy to send you samples so that you can carry out appropriate tests and convince yourself of the processing quality. If neither of the two film thicknesses is suitable, we can also fulfil any special requests you may have, regardless of whether the material needs to be very thin, very strong, thick, tough or tear-resistant. What material are adhesive seal bags made of?
Adhesive seal bags are now made from the following materials:

Disposal of adhesive seal bags
The disposal of PE and PP products is very clearly regulated in Germany and Europe and poses no problems whatsoever. Especially with the PE and PP plastics, which are very environmentally friendly, the recycling of these packaging has been a common practice for decades. Both plastics are significantly more environmentally friendly than paper, bio-plastics and products made from cotton or jute fabric.
They contain neither plasticisers, heavy metals nor other toxic substances. They consist of carbon and hydrogen and burn without leaving any residue to form carbon dioxide and water.
